Service Positions in Nar-Anon

Service is an important and integral part of the Nar-Anon organization’s ability to help those in need of Nar-Anon. There is an abundance of opportunity to contribute your service to Nar-Anon, from sharing your experiences, to offering your time for service positions, to supporting the 7th tradition of Nar-Anon.

If you are interested in contributing through service, you’ll find some resources here to help you navigate the options, responsibilities, and expectations in service.

Service

For our group purposes there is but one authority — a loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted servants — they do not govern.

Servants

Effective leadership is highly valued in Nar-Anon. Leadership qualities should be carefully considered when selecting trusted servants.
